STATE LEGISLATURE In the Florida Senate, all of the even number districts are up for election this fall.  Eight incumbent Senators ran unopposed and will be returning to Tallahassee. One race will be decided in the primary election Tuesday, August 26th, and the remaining eleven contested races will be decided on November 4th.

In the State House, all one hundred twenty seats are up for election.  Thirty-nine unopposed candidates retained their seats and fifteen House seats are up for grabs as those retiring members were limited to serving two terms.
