The Florida Legislature passed the largest ever General Appropriations Act at $101.5 billion for Fiscal Year 2021-2022. $6 billion was placed in the reserves and $350 million into the budget stabilization fund. BUDGET The Legislature sent its $91.1 billion budget to the Governor on June 14th. He approved it on June 21st and vetoed 187 projects totaling $131.2 million. This was his first budget as Governor. The Florida Legislature completed five of the six weeks of scheduled interim committee meetings to prepare for the 2018 Legislative Session, which begins on January 9th.
