Jay Galbraith BRIDG named Jay Galbraith president. BRIDG is a nonprofit public-private partnership based in Osceola County’s 500-acre NeoCity technology campus.

Tommy Gregory State Representative Tommy Gregory (R-Lakewood Ranch) was named president of State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. He will replace Carol Probstfeld, who will retire July 1st.

Anne B. Kerr After 20 years as president of Florida Southern College, Dr. Anne B. Kerr announced she will retire this year.

José Javier Rodríguez The U.S. Senate confirmed former state senator Jose’ Javier Rodriguez (D-Miami) as an assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor.

Harry Sideris Duke Energy appointed Harry Sideris as its president.

Chris Spencer The Florida Cabinet approved Chris Spencer as the executive director of the State Board of Administration (SBA). He replaced interim director Lamar Taylor. Taylor will serve as chief investment officer for the SBA.

Task Force on Artificial Intelligence U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson named Congresswomen Kat Cammack (R-Gainesville) and Laurel Lee (R-Tampa), and Congressmen Neal Dunn (R- Panama City) and Scott Franklin (R-Lakeland) to serve on the newly formed, bipartisan Task Force on Artificial Intelligence.
