Michael DiNapoli The executive director of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, Michael DiNapoli, was asked to step away from his office by the Board of Directors Chair Mario Facella on July 21st. DiNapoli, appointed by Governor DeSantis in February, was put on paid leave while the inspector general conducts an investigation into accusations that he has created a hostile work environment.

Carolyn Fennell Retiring as director of public affairs for the Orlando International Airport was Carolyn Fennell. Fennell has held the position for almost 43 years, reporting to 13 directors and nine chairmen over her career. She was recognized as one of “Orlando’s Leading Women-Redefining Power” in 1995 by Orlando Magazine. When she started, the Orlando International Airport saw about 5 million passengers annually. Today, more than 50 million travelers pass through the terminals.

Fred Hawkins Former State Representative Fred Hawkins (R-Orlando) has been named president of South Florida State College. He replaces retiring college president Thomas Leitzel. 

Andrew Walmsley The Florida Farm Bureau Federation (FFBF) has named Andrew Walmsley director of legislative affairs. Walmsley is rejoining the FBFF after working as senior director of government affairs for the American Farm Bureau.
