| SPECIAL ELECTIONS Governor Ron DeSantis has scheduled the primary and general elections for House District 118 (Miami) and House District 35 (Orlando). The special primary election for HD 118 will be on October 3rd with the general election on December 5th. The special primary election for HD 35 will be November 7th with the general election January 16, 2024. Former Representatives Juan Fernandez-Barquin (R-Miami) and Fred Hawkins (R- 2023 FALL INTERIM COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE Senate President Kathleen Passidomo (R-Naples) and House Speaker Paul Renner (R-Palm Coast) have announced the dates for the interim committee meetings to prepare for the 2024 Session. The Regular Session will convene on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
