The Legislature gathered in Tallahassee for its final week of committee meetings from December 9th – 12th and multiple fundraisers for candidates who have races next November. Thus far, 1,063 bills have been filed and 1,500 appropriation requests have been submitted by members.
The 2020 Legislative Session will begin on January 14th and is scheduled to run sixty days, ending March 13th. Our next edition will have a synopsis of legislation of interest and more updates on the upcoming session.
