Governor DeSantis Appointments 

Gulf County Board of County Commissioners Appointed was Lloyd “Jack” Husband, president of Southeastern Consulting Engineers, Inc. 

Marjory Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Commission Appointed were Pamela Davis, Chief of Police for the Punta Gorda Police Department; Daniel Foganholi, a Broward County School Board; and John Newman, chief of security and emergency management for Hillsborough County. 

Pasco-Hernando State College District Board of Trustees Appointed was Nicole Newlon, an attorney at Johnson, Newlon & DeCort, P.A. and former city commissioner for Dade City. Reappointed were Jeff Harrington, PhD chief deputy sheriff at the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office; Lee Maggard, vice president and credit officer for BankFlorida; John Mitten, franchise owner of Chick-fil-A in Spring Hill and a former chair of the Hernando County Commission; and Rebecca Schulkowski president at BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel. 

Polk State College District Board of Trustees Appointed were Ann Barnhart, vice president of strategy for AdventHealth; Cynthia Ross, owner of Social Graces; Ashley Troutman, a financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual; Ashley Bell Barnett, a community advocate who serves on the Southwest Florida Water Management District; and Greg Littleton, president, and chief executive officer of Citizens Bank & Trust.  

South Florida Water Management District Reappointed were Chauncey Goss, managing partner of Goss Practical Solutions, LLC; John Steinle, a partner at Atlantic Street Capital; and Scott Wagner, founder of Wagner Legal.

Southwest Florida Water Management District Appointed was Nancy Watkins, a Certified Public Accountant at Robert Watkins & Company, P.A. Reappointed were Ashley Bell Barnett, a community advocate; Kelly Rice, president of Prime Property Resources, Inc., Rice Cattle Company, and Physical Therapy Services of Brooksville, Inc.; and Joel Schleicher, an entrepreneur and former founder and executive chair of Focal Point Data Risk, LLC.
