Governor DeSantis Appointments 

Florida Commission on Ethics Appointed were Freddie Figgers, president and chief executive officer of Figgers Communication, Inc.; and Ashley Lukis, shareholder at GrayRobinson, P.A. Reappointed was Edwin Moore, PhD, the former president and chief executive officer of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida. 

Florida Gateway College District Board of Trustees Appointed Robert “Chuck” Brannan III, self-employed owner of Farming and Ranching and the Republican House Representative for District 10; John Crawford, principal for Baker County Public Schools; John Medina, president and chief executive officer of First Federal Bank; Suzanne Norris, executive vice president of Millennium Bank; and Dr. Miguel Tepedino, a medical doctor at North Florida Family Medicine and an adjunct associate clinical professor at the University of Florida. 

Florida Historical Commission Appointed was David Hoyt, executive director of development for the Heartland Institute. Reappointed were John Browning Jr., senior vice president of political affairs for the Goodman Company and the president of Browning Consulting; and Michael Francis, PhD, a professor and the endowed chair of Florida Studies at the University of South Florida. 

Florida Prepaid College Board Reappointed was John Rood, chair of The Vestcor Companies and the former United States Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. 

Florida Southwestern State College District Board of Trustees Appointed were Kristina Heuser, an attorney at Kristina Heuser Law Firm; Eviana Martin, an attorney at Martin Law Firm; Lisa Metcalfe Swinto, southwest Florida regional director of Associated Builders & Contractors Gulf Coast chapter; Denise Murphy, general manager of Stock Development Associates; and Tyler Patak, PhD an architect and principal at Parker Mudgett Smith Architects, Inc.
