From the Capitol

The General Election is just a week away. To date, over three million Floridians have requested a vote-by-mail (formerly absentee) ballot and over 1.9 of those ballots have been returned. Approximately 12.7 million people are eligible to vote for this election, with 100,000 being registered during the period when the registration deadline was extended by a week due to Hurricane Matthew.

We would like to congratulate the candidates who won election or re-election to the Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives because the write-in candidate decided to drop out of that particular race.
