Governor DeSantis College and University Board Appointments: 

Daytona State College District Board of Trustees Appointed was Randall Howard, New Smyrna Beach, senior vice president and chief financial officer of EmbryRiddle Aeronautical University. Reappointed was Llyod Freckleton, Flagler Beach, retired from the NYC department of corrections.

Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Board of Trustees Appointed were Matthew Kramer, St. Augustine, executive therapeutic specialist with Gilead Science; and Pamela Siguler, Ponte Vedra Beach, a retired educator who taught deaf and blind students at schools in both Massachusetts and Virginia.

Florida Southwestern State College District Board of Trustees Appointed was David Ciccarello, Fort Myers, partner at Wilbur Smith law firm. Reappointed were Jonathan Martin, Fort Myers, an attorney at Parvey & Frankel Attorneys, P.A; and Danny Nix, Punta Gorda, owner of Nix and Associates Real Estate and a board member at Crossroads Hope Academy, a nonprofit home for foster boys.

Florida State College at Jacksonville District Board of Trustees Appointed was Shantel Davis, Jacksonville, vice president of real estate and facilities management for CSX Transportation. Reappointed was David Hawkins, Jacksonville, chief executive of Stein Mart Inc.

Seminole State College District Board of Trustees Appointed were former Representative Bob Cortes, Altamonte Springs, senior administrator for government affairs for the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office; and Susan Fernandez, Sanford, senior director of communications and government relations at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas.

St. Johns River State College District Board of Trustees Appointed was Jan Conrad, St. Johns, senior vice president of commercial banking at Ameris Bank. Reappointed was Samuel Garrison, Clay, an attorney with Bradley, Garrison & Komando, P.A.

St. Petersburg College District Board of Trustees Appointed were Thomas Kidwell, St. Petersburg, financial adviser with UBS Financial Services, Inc.; and Deveron Gibbons, St. Petersburg, vice president of public affairs with Amscot Corporation.

Tallahassee Community College District Board of Trustees Reappointed were Karen Moore, Tallahassee, chief executive officer of Moore, Inc.; and Eric Grant, Tallahassee, president of Municipal Code Corporation.

Valencia College District Board of Trustees Appointed were Michael Sasso, Orlando, a partner at Sasso & Sasso, P.A.; and Mai Swanson, Winter Park, owner and manager of Signature Landscape Contractors. Reappointed was Daisy Lopez Cid, Kissimmee, owner of ReMax Premier Properties and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
