Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees Appointed was Piero Bussani, Boca Raton, chief legal officer and global head of legal and risk at Revantage Corporate Services.
Florida Children and Youth Cabinet Appointed were Jessica Costello, Tampa, a county court judge in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit; Forough Hosseini, Ormond Beach, senior vice president of information systems for ICI Homes; Corey Simon, Tallahassee, CEO of Volunteer Florida and president of the Big Bend Pop Warner Football League; and Sandra Himmel, Inverness, Citrus County superintendent of schools.
First Lady Casey DeSantis stepped down as chair of the Children and Youth Cabinet on October 9th after a recent diagnosis of breast cancer. Governor DeSantis has named Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo as chair.

Florida Department of Health Named Surgeon General and Secretary of the Florida Department of Health was Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, MD, PhD. Ladapo hails from Los Angeles where he was an associate professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Ladapo was also granted a professorship at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Florida International University Board of Trustees Appointed was Carlos Duart, Tallahassee, president of CDR Maguire, Inc. and CEO of CDR Enterprises, Inc.
