Miami Dade College Retiring as president of MDC is Eduardo J. Padrón. Padrón, joined the school faculty in 1970 and has been president of MDC since 1995. No interim president has been named.
Okaloosa County Superintendent of Schools Former Superintendent Mary Beth Jackson resigned on July 17th. Jackson had been suspended by Governor DeSantis in January over alleged abuse of disabled students by a teacher, among other things.
