Movers and Shakers

Governor DeSantis appointments:

District Board of Trustees of Tallahassee Community College Reappointed was Eugene Lamb, Jr., Midway, a retired teacher who has served on the District Board of Trustees of Tallahassee Community College since 2007.

Fifth Circuit Court Appointed were Judge Brian Welke, a Lake County judge who previously worked as an adoption attorney; and Danny Mosley, assistant state attorney for the 5th Circuit State Attorney’s Office.

South Florida Water Management District Board Appointed was Ronald “Alligator Ron” Bergeron, founder and CEO of Bergeron Family of Companies, following an 8-0 vote by the Florida Commission on Ethics to adopt an advisory opinion allowing him to join the board.

Third District Court of Appeal Appointed were Monica Gordo, a judge of the 11th Circuit Court since 2010; and Fleur Lobree, originally from Indiana, a legal advisor and assistant state attorney for the 11th Circuit State Attorney’s Office.
