Celeste Philip Former Florida Surgeon General Celeste Philip is the new director of health services for Sonoma County, California. Philip was appointed by former Governor Rick Scott in 2016 to serve as surgeon general and secretary of the Department of Health.
Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Appointed by Commissioner Nikki Fried were Shahra Lambert as federal affairs director and Erin Moffet as deputy federal affairs director. Steven Hall has been appointed as general counsel.
Department of Health Named director of the Office of Medical Marijuana Use at the Florida Department of Health was Courtney Coppola. Coppola most recently has served as interim director.
Florida’s Senior Protection Team Created by Attorney General Ashley Moody, the group works to fight fraud and abuse of the State’s seniors. The team is comprised of members from the Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution, Consumer Protection Division and Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and also includes individuals from Seniors v.
