Governor Scott Appointments:

College of Central Florida District Board of Trustees Appointed was Randall Ewers, Ocala, strategic sourcing manager with Hale Products.

Florida SouthWestern State College Board of Trustees Appointed were Julia Du Plooy, Clewiston, an independent contractor and owner of Julia du Plooy, LLC, and president of the Lake Okeechobee Business Alliance; and Jonathan Martin, Fort Myers, an attorney with Parvey & Frankel Attorneys, P.A.

Miami Dade College District Board of Trustees Reappointed were Marili Cancio, Key Biscayne, owner of Marili Cancio & Johnson P.A.; and Bernie Navarro, Miami, president of Benworth Capital Partners. Appointed were Juan C. Zapata, Miami, owner of Zapata Consulting and a former member of the Florida House of Representatives and former Miami Dade County Commissioner; Jose K. Fuentes, Miami, a government relations representative with Becker & Poliakoff; and Dr. Rolando Montoya, Miami, retired provost of Miami Dade College.

New College of Florida Board of Trustees Appointed were Felipe Colon, Sarasota, financial advisor; and Mark Aesch, Spring Hill, chief executive officer of TransPro Consulting.

Northwest Florida State College District Board of Trustees Appointed were Charlotte Flynt, Miramar Beach, a retired general contractor and owner of Two Oaks Construction, Inc.; Lori Kelley, Fort Walton Beach, certified public accountant with Warren Averett, LLC; and Tom Wright, Niceville, retired Major General in the United States Air Force who previously served as the Deputy Chief of Staff Operations for SHAPE HQ.

Pasco-Hernando State College District Board of Trustees Appointed was Lee Maggard, Zephyrhills, assistant vice president and commercial relationship manager for CenterState Bank.

Polk State College District Board of Trustees Appointed was Ashley Bell-Barnett, Winter Haven, a community advocate in Polk County.

Tallahassee Community College District Board of Trustees Appointed was Eric Grant, Tallahassee, president of the Municipal Code Corporation.

Valencia State College District Board of Trustees Reappointed were Raymer Maguire III, Orlando, an eminent domain attorney with Maguire Lassman, P.A.; and Daisy Lopez-Cid, Kissimmee, owner of Remax Premier Properties and president of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
