Appointments by Governor DeSantis:

Florida Board of Dentistry Appointed were Bradley Cherry, Ponte Vedra Beach, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in St. Augustine; Thomas McCawley, Fort Lauderdale, president of McCawley Periodontics P.A. who previously served in the U.S. Army Dental Corps; Christine Bojaxhi, Neptune Beach, a dentist at the Mayo Clinic of Florida and Comfortable Care Dental Health; and Jose Mellado, North Miami, a dentist with del Amo and Mellado Periodontics in Coral Gables.

Florida Board of Pharmacy Appointed were Maja Gift, Tampa, director of pharmacy services at Tampa General Hospital; Patty Ghazvini, Tallahassee, division director and a professor at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; and Dorinda Segovia Hialeah, vice president of pharmacy services at Memorial Healthcare System in Miramar.

Florida Commission on Ethics Appointed were former Representative Travis Cummings, Fleming Island, vice president of benefits at The Bailey Group; Glenton Gilzean, Ocoee, president and CEO of the Central Florida Urban League; and Jim Waldman, Pompano Beach, attorney and general counsel at Everglades College, Inc.

Florida Commission on Human Relations Appointed was Vivian Myrtetus, Miami, government partnership manager, Eastern United States, for Spin.

Florida Council on Arts and Culture Appointed were Patricia Frost, Miami Beach, former principal with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and co-supporter of The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum; Lisa Burgess, Fort Lauderdale, president of New River Fine Art, Inc.; Frank Gromling, Beverly Beach, owner of Ocean Art Gallery of Ormond Beach; Richard Forsyth, Tampa, owner, president and CEO of Wendover Art Group; Tara Forman, Sea Ranch Lakes, a former real estate consultant with Ropes Associates; and Carroll Hanley Goggin, Winter Park, vice president and CFO of DBG Promotions.
